In June 2025, IHC New Zealand released a new report which explores the depth of poverty experienced by people with intellectual disabilities.

For Glass Ceiling Arts Collective, this report provides a timely opportunity to reflect on the key issues and challenges it raises, and consider how our work addresses the needs and rights of people with intellectual disabilities through inclusive, empowering arts programmes.

Spark LIVE, the epic multi-sensory theatre storyscape launches its much-anticipated new tour!

Last Friday night we were all super excited, as Spark featured on RadioNZ National’s Checkpoint programme.

In May, our General Manager Michael Eaglesome represented Glass Ceiling Arts Collective at a multi-sensory symposium organised by Frozen Light Theatre, in Norwich in the UK.

Glass Ceiling Arts Collective is proud to announce the release of Spark; our new multisensory work for audiences with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).

We are thrilled that our Artistic Director Charlotte Nightingale was the recipient of the Whakahoa Kaitoi Te Puna Toi Creative New Zealand Arts For All Fellowship.
